The New Hampshire Fisher Cats are proud to serve the entire state of New Hampshire. Since our inception in October of 2003, the Fisher Cats have established themselves as a high profile business in the New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts market. Through extensive community outreach programs, affordable pricing and a first class entertainment experience at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium, the Fisher Cats have become New Hampshire's premier outdoor entertainment destination.
In the first season, the Fisher Cats played at historic Gill Stadium, located on the East Side of Manchester. Its inaugural season proved a huge success, as the Fisher Cats won the 2004 Eastern League Championship! Starting in 2005, the team moved to its own Merchantsauto.com Stadium along the banks of the Merrimack River in the heart of downtown Manchester. The ballpark seats 6,500 people.
In 2007, the Fisher Cats set numerous attendance records. On June 16th, a franchise single-game record 8,227 fans saw the Fisher Cats beat the Erie SeaWolves. Just nine days later, the team established a franchise-record seventh consecutive standing-room-only crowd of 6,831when the Fisher Cats hosted the Portland Sea Dogs. A grand total of 371,710 fans came to Northeast Delta Dental Stadium to cheer on their hometown heroes. To add to the record-setting season, the franchise welcomed its 1,000,000th fan on July 7th - Drew Farris of Andover, MA.
In 2008, the Fisher Cats celebrated their 5-year anniversary, as well as the 2008 Northeast Delta Dental Eastern League All-Star Game.
