Event Description:
Stretch your tracking skills beyond winter snow with master tracker and educator Scott Semmens. Learn how to look for animal tracks and sign in sand and mud, and in a variety of habitats. This course will primarily take place in the field. Participants must feel comfortable moving on uneven terrain and through some physically challenging landscapes. Some previous experience with tracking is highly recommended. Space is limited, and registration is required.
Scott Semmens taught high school science for 28 years, and now teaches in the Environmental Studies Department at Keene State College. He's been tracking animals formore than two decades, throughout the U.S. as well as in South Africa, Botswana, and Nepal. One of Scott’s greatest passions is getting young  people outdoors to reconnect with the natural world.
